Getting to know me. . .

Hi! I’m Rita Stolt, lower grade teacher at St. Paul Lutheran School, Bloomer, WI. I’m a daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, friend, and more. I will be entering my 18th year of the teaching ministry at St. Paul Lutheran. I’m enjoying the time this summer to help care for my family and to get things ready for the 2019 – 2020 school year.

One of the things I love to do is read. I’ve read several chapter books this summer that I’m planning on reading aloud to my class this year. I also read two other books: one on Leonardo da Vinci, and another about Samuel Clemons (Mark Twain). They were both very interesting and gave me a wider knowledge of both of these individuals. That information will come in handy to give my students a more in-depth view of them as we read Tom Sawyer or Huckleberry Finn ( I haven’t decided which one yet), and also as we study some of da Vinci’s work for both art and science.

In the interest of trying to keep my posts short and sweet, I’ll sign off for today. Enjoy the rest of your day!
